On Thursday 9th December, 2021, the District Assembly held a short ceremony to distribute items including deep freezers, motorized spraying machines, wheel chair, etc to twenty-four (24)Persons living with disabilities in the district. The event which was the second for the year 2021 , forms part of efforts by the Assembly and by extension the Government to empower PWDs to undertake various economic ventures that would sustain their livelihoods and improve their general wellbeing.
