As part of efforts to provide technical back-stopping on Environmental Health and Sanitation issues in the Region, the Regional Environmental Health Department led by Mr. Paul Kwesi Nutsugah Jnr (Regional Environmental Health Officer) paid a two(2)-day monitoring visit to the Sefwi Akontombra District Assembly.
The exercise which took place from 28th-29th July, 2021 involved activities such us;
1. Review on Environmental Health Management & Administration Protocols
2. Visit to solid waste final disposal sites and privately owned plastic/ metal waste collection point at Akontombra
3. Stakeholder meetings and data collection on noise and potential noise makers.
