On Wednesday, 29th March, and Thursday, 30th March 2023, officials from Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) organized a 2-day training workshop for some selected Officers of the District Assembly and other departments in the Administrative Data Collection.
Participants were taken through;
- MMDAs template for consistent and complete data collection.
- Data quality issues
- Coordination and Compilation of reports
- Role of data in the preparation of the Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP), and Annual Progress Report (APR).
The team at the end of the Training presented a laptop to the District Statistical Department to help institutionalize the data collection exercise.
