The Green Ghana Project is an initiative by President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo supervised by the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources to plant trees across the country to improve the bad climatic condition in Ghana.

In view of the above, the Green Ghana Project Committee of Sefwi Akontombra District Assembly in collaboration with the Sefwi Akontombra – Wiawso Division of Forestry Commission of Ghana has scheduled the project to commence on Friday, 9th June 2021 at the Sefwi Akontombra High School at 8:00 am prompt. The DCE, Hon. Amoah Yawson invites all in the district to support the start of the project.
