PROFILE OF THE PRESIDING MEMBER
The Sefwi Akontombra District Assembly’s Presiding Member currently is Hon. Isaac Entsie. An elected Assembly Member of the Fawokabra Electoral Area in the Nsawora Area Council, He was confirmed the Presiding Member on the 23rd January,2020 after securing two-thirds majority vote of the Assembly. He is a team player, an entrepreneur and a dynamic leader who is able to mobilize both human and material resources within his reach to attain organizational goals.
Presiding Member Isaac Entsie has established a good inter – personal relationship with both workers of the District Assembly and colleague Assembly members to improve work performance and development of the District.
CAREER PATH
Hon. Isaac Entsie has worked with the public sector under the Ghana Education Service for the past twenty – two (22) years. His dedication and hard work has elevated him to the Office of the School Improvement Support Officer (SISO) previously known as Circuit Supervisor under the monitoring and supervision Unit.
He is also privately into agriculture specifically cocoa, oil palm and Apiculture (bee keeping) of which he won an award as the best Apiculture farmer in 2012 in the Sefwi Akontombra District.
EDUCATION
Currently, Hon. Isaac Entsie holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Cape Coast. Prior to that, he held a Teacher’s Certificate “A” and Diploma in Basic Education from the same University.
INTERIST
Hon. Isaac Entsie, is a lover of sports and has skills in coaching. He has coached the educational circuit, District teams in soccer, Handball, and athletics. He also like listening to music.
