As part of efforts to provide technical backstopping on Environmental Health and Sanitation issues in the Region, the Regional Environmental Health Department led by Mr. Paul Kwesi Nutsugah Jnr (Regional Environmental Health Officer) paid a two(2)-day monitoring visit to the Sefwi Akontombra District Assembly.
The exercise which took place from 28th-29th July, 2022 involved activities such us;
1. Review on Environmental Health Management & Administration Protocols
2. Visit to solid waste final disposal sites and privately owned plastic/ metal waste collection point at Akontombra
3. Stakeholder meetings and data collection on noise and potential noise makers.
