In line with the Local Governance Act 936, Sections 82(1) ,88(2)and the NDPC sector Planning Guidelines, the Sefwi Akontombra District Assembly, on Wednesday 20th April 2022, held its final public hearing on the 2022-2025 Medium Term Development Plan at the Church of Pentecost, Ackaakrom.

The MTDP is a 4 or 5-year rolling development plan that’s sets sector strategies, targets, deliverables and their projected estimated cost of implementation.

The event which was chaired by the Chief of Ackaakrom, Nana krobea Asante, was graced by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Alex D. Tetteh, the District Chief Executive , Hon. Yawson Amoah and Mr. Ernest Yankson (Regional Economic Planning Office )

Also in attendance were Traditional leaders from surrounding communities, HODS and staff of the Assembly, Clergy, media reps and the general public.
