The ministry of Trade and Industry is the lead policy advisor to the government on trade, industrial and private sector development with responsibility for the formulation and implementation of policies for the promotion, growth and development of domestic and international trade and industry.
The Ghana Enterprises Agency, as an agency of the ministry seeks to advance government policies and interventions through the business advisory centers, responsible for: Delivery/facilitate business access to development services required to start and improve businesses at the district level, coordinate capacity-building activities for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME’s) at the district level.
