As part of the overall objective to improve the effectiveness of staff and standard service delivery in the District Assembly, a one-day training workshop was organized by the District Assembly in collaboration with Espeagles Consult, for staff on Friday, 21st May, 2021 at the Methodist Church, Akontombra.

The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Gabriel Adjargo in his opening remarks, encouraged participants to take the training seriously with the aim of improving their knowledge in corporate governance and service delivery.

The workshop aimed at building the capacity of staff of the Assembly on community building, leadership skills, Team building, local Government Service protocols, Conflict management and Revenue mobilization.

A participant-centered approach was used to identify the existing weaknesses, strengths and the needs for revenue mobilization. The facilitator, Dr. Felix Amakye led members through group exercises and several activities to determine strategies that would create a conducive working environment.
